Fall 2001
At this time in my life I did not like the way
I looked or felt. I was at my heaviest -263 pds. I was miserable and it was so hard to lose weight.
For years I binged and purged. It was not until eating Living foods that I discovered I could eat without guilt
or making myself throw-up because I felt bad after eating. I have learned to nurture myself because Living Foods has
literally Transformed my Body, My Attitude and My Life!!!
Winter 2002/03
This was the first winter after becoming sick and discovering
The Living Foods Lifestyle online. I learned (and am still learning) so much from others and from books. Learning
about the lifestyle and reading about other peoples stories is so important. I am grateful to all who take the time
to share thier thoughts and feelings about the Raw Diet!
Spring
2003
For my 34th Birthday I shaved my head, symbolic & affirming
of my choice to live simple, keeping my intent in focus & letting go of unnecessary attachments. This was a
very productive/nurturing year for myself and my family.
Winter 2003/04
This winter I learned in December that I was pregnant
with my third child. I have two boys who are 10 & 12. This was a time of happiness and more transformations.
This cold winter coupled with the pregnancy threw me out of balance and I made things difficult for myself, but I have chose
to use it as a lesson to help me learn from my mistakes. This has allowed me to grow and not to be hard on myself when
I get side-tracked from my Raw Intent. I find I come at it with even more determination and a greater understanding.
Spring 2004
Life has returned in full bloom to the Ozarks and
I am grateful and full of Life! I feel great and am back on track. We have a small group of friends who meet monthly
for a Raw Potluck and Social. This is a time we help each other out around our homesteads, doing different
projects or just gathering to enjoy each others company and warm humor. I am working on organizing Living
Food Potlucks in my area that will be open to the public. I look forward to spreading the word and seeing
others embrace the Living Foods Lifestyle!
Summer 2004
This picture was taken by my Talented, Beautiful & Crazy Friend Olivia Hudek. It was
hot as heck that day and I was dreaming of a lovely cool dip in the lake, while Olivia captured a rare moment of the swollen
Goddess, rich with life and nature all within a beautiful belly. How blessed I feel to be given such a sacred gift as this!
